Try not to influence an action in motion of another body of ours, this could lead to mistakes, and shaking or something
Eyes should lock only when around or talking to other people - moving the inner/higher body eyes could be seen as flaps or flashes, and attract unwanted attention
(unless we want that attention)

we may look at whatever we want, separate eyes, and then rest back in the lock when ready to relax, go with the flow
